My name is Mónica and I’m very happy that you’re here!
I’m a fashion designer, illustrator and pattern maker with more than 15 years of professional experience in the fashion industry. I was born in Zamora, grew up in Aliste and have lived half my life in my native Spain and half in Germany, my adopted country.
My heart has always been in fashion, art and design, and it was my love of drawing and fabrics that led me to become a Fashion Designer and Illustrator!

But I don’t come from a traditional fashion background: I studied English Philology at the University of Salamanca in Spain. At the age of 20, I moved to A Coruña and Madrid, switching to the field of fashion design and industrial manufacturing techniques.
After graduating, I moved to Germany where I worked as a fashion designer for several independient fashion brands and for Peek and Cloppenburg in Düsseldorf: a very enriching professional and life experience!

What I really like about fashion and styling is how creative you can be with it in everyday life: it is not only fun, but also helps to bring out the best in us, especially exciting because of its constant changeability.
My inspiration is the innate beauty of the individual and the joie de vivre.

My eyes are always on the lookout for that special detail that makes your favourite garment or accessory something unique and incomparable.

I think life is too short to wear boring things, I love colour and I see fashion as a sustainable, soulful life experience, far beyond design and aesthetics.

▪︎
The beauty of colours can capture any heart and fill it with energy. I love mixing colours, my printed T-shirts are full of them! I don’t have a rule like „you can’t wear silver and gold“. You can mix them. If orange makes you happy, wear it!

Colours make the world come alive, don’t you think? They complete the beautiful picture of life, they create a melody for our eyes to feast on, they are the language that everyone understands: never stop colouring your life!

I love combining different materials and styles to make them my own: sporty, retro, rocking or casual, classic and vintage pieces mixed with something trendy to make it a bit more chic, depending on my mood.

Customisation is trendy! Personalised clothes with that certain something, based on good basics that feel good on the skin and combined with personal it-pieces according to the mood of the moment, that’s my thing!

As long as you wear something with confidence,everything will look good and you will radiate it! Wear what you like,what you like best and what you feel most comfortable in!
